*Here are the matches on “Smackdown” tonight, taped Tuesday night in Peoria, Illinois:
*Matt Hardy Vs Finlay in a “Smackdown Sprint” match
*Jimmy Wang Yang Vs Tatanka
*Chris Benoit Vs Ken Kennedy
*Paul London & Brian Kendrick Vs William Regal & Dave Taylor
*MVP Vs Vito in a “Smackdown Sprint” match
*The Undertaker Vs The Miz in a “Smackdown Sprint” match

*The WWE is off the road tonight and will begin their tour tomorrow night with the “Raw” crew in Alexandria, Louisiana and the “Smackdown” and ECW crew in Hidalgo, Texas (one of the company’s hottest markets).

*If you are in the Toronto area, the Pillow Fight League has their DVD launch party show tonight at The Mod Club (722 College Street West at College and Ossington). The doors open at 8pm and the show is at 9pm with the first 200 fans getting free copies of their first DVD. Tickets are $15 at the door and $12 in advance.

*Great Canadian Wrestling has a show in Oshawa, Ontario tonight featuring Samoa Joe Vs Michael Elgin.

*This Sunday on The LAW we have our “Worst of 2006” show with our picks for the all the worst of the past year. We encourage you to call in with your picks, Sunday night at 11pm EST.

*The following matches have been added to the TNA “Final Resolution” show on Sunday:
*Alex Shelley Vs Austin Starr (They will have 10:00 to win and if neither can win, they will go to judges)
*James Storm Vs Petey Williams
*Chase Stevens Vs Lance Hoyt (Pre show)

*Randy Couture had written his first edition of the “Couture Chronicles”, a regular column he will write for The Fight Network website. In his first column he discusses the decision to come out of retirement to fight Tim Sylvia on March 3rd.

*A new MMA promotion called “Art of War” has signed a deal with HDNet, the same station that previously aired WEC until it was bought by the UFC. “Art of War” will hold their first show on March 9th at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas (which is a massive building) and will be headlined by Pedro Rizzo Vs Justin Eilers. The show will also feature UFC announcer Bruce Buffer and former fighter Guy Mezger and their match maker.

*MMA Weekly is reporting that UFC 70 will take place in Manchester, England at the Manchester Evening News Arena featuring Michael Bisping on the card.

*The “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” featuring John Cena, Batista and Ashley Massaro will air this Sunday night at 8pm EST on ABC (right before “Desperate Housewives”!)

*Nobuyuki Sakakibara, the CEO for the Pride Fighting Championship, did an interview with Sherdog where he referred to Vince McMahon as his role model as a businessman. The timing of that quote with Monday’s show probably wasn’t the best.

*The Pure Wrestling Association presented Holiday Hangover 2 on January 11th, 2007 at the French Canadian Community Centre in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. Here are the results:
*Elian Habanero defeated The Masked Hideous Blob to retain the Internet Title.
*Juan Ortiz defeated Hayden Avery.
*Jay Fenix defeated Ruffy Silverstein
*Spare Change defeated The Irelanders by DQ to retain the Tag Team Championship.
*Warhed defeated PD Flex to retain the Pure Violence Title *Danyah defeated Cherry Bomb with Krystal Banks at ringside.
*Elian Habanero won the 41-person Over-The-Top Rumble. Johnny Devine from TNA was a surprise participant.
*Samoa Joe defeated Eddie Osbourne to win the Pure Wrestling Title.

The PWA returns to Cambridge on February 22nd with Samoa Joe against Elian Habanero for the Pure Wrestling Title.
