I do agree that they could have someone responding as the CEO is busy with running the actual business itself.

Most companies do not email back anyone who owns shares but instead they would send updates in a form of a letter to major shareholders etc. I receive them with some stocks I own but they do not personally email people unless you owned a crazy amount of shares which made you a major shareholder.
