Regarding the dividends. This will be long...

So, I'm one of (Not sure if others have access to their divys) the shareholders who did receive dividends and they were restricted and shown as a number in my account. When the restriction was suppose to be lifted I expected them to just convert to NSAV in my account...they did not.

I went through my email thread to recall the process as it took place between 2017 and Oct 2018.

I initiated the conversation with Pacific Stock Transfer who is the Transfer Agent for NSAV. They told me unfortunately they actually couldn't directly speak to me on the matter and would actually need my brokerage to call contact them. Something of a technicality, can't recall exactly why.

So, I contacted my brokerage and explained the situation. They reached out to Pacific and after whatever conversation they had, the situation was settled and the certificate for my total dividend payout was issued and sent over to my brokerage. I wasn't aware of this part. Things went kinda dark with TA and I couldn't get a hold of the individual handling it, nor could my brokerage. 8 months went by and finally we got an answer. They insisted that they had sent the certificate...they looked into it and it turned out it was still at the FedEx sorting facility. They contacted FedEx, FedEx admitted fault after they could not find the package...TA produced another certificate and shipped it out, 2 day later my Brokerage confirmed they received the package and days later they showed up in my account...Oct 04, 2018. They are fully tradeable.

So, my advice...reach out to Pacific Stock Transfer, explain the situation. Also, speak to your brokerage at the same time, see what they can do.

My brokerage, Qtrade in Canada has been amazing. They did all the work, I didn't have to pay for anything. I'm not sure if there is a difference between the US and Canada on how this can be handled, but I can only speak from my experience.

Finally...here's a screenshot from my account history.
