"Something appears to have come up that required more cash at once than could have been pulled from Aspire."

That certainly seems logical based on the Aspire restrictions. I see know reason for a CEO of a fledgling Pharm do anything at this point that could tarnish or ruin this Company in exchange for personal gain. Everything is on the line.
