Why does the state hold them? Werent you give notification the broker was closing and you need to move them? Are they paper shares? How many shares? Why didn't you transfer them before your broker went out of business? What broker is that? What reason did etrade specifically deny the shares? My understanding has been etrade won't take paper otc stock only listed paper shares from NYSE,NASDAQ,AMEX and electronic OTC shares. The answer to these questions is good info for all investors to know. Did you buy any more shares recently considering the hot sector and the impending breakout?
