Balagamwala was born a US citizen in 1975. He would be a dual citizen due to his parents immigrating from Pakistan. His parents immigrated from Pakistan in 1971, so they didn't come just to have him. (I used my genealogy research skills for this bit of research). So, technically it might be possible to deport him under Pakistani citizenship rules. But, that would likely cost the state more in legal fees than simply locking him up for 20 years.
Btw, while using my genealogy skills I learned that his dad and someone else (his dad is dead now) ran a Burger King in Atlanta starting in the 1980s. But, they had some rather lengthy legal battles with Burger King Corp in the 1990s that seemed to stem from BK supposedly messing over non-white BK franchises. I will leave the docs on those here so you can make your own judgment
Frankly, I hope we get a new CEO. Perhaps one of the custodian peeps has their eye on it. That would be nice. And frankly, I think the name alone is valuable.
