World Radio Day: February 13, 2021

I hope everyone takes a moment of time today to reflect on the importance of radio. It has the ability to get the word out to the most distant lands.

I am currently contacting Ed Kroeker, our great resident mystic, to see if GMEV would be interested in buying some radio time to spread the word about GMEV. It is a cheap form of communicating, that I feel is very effective.

I'm not too sure how mystics feel about radios and radio waves, but I'll give it a shot anyway. Wish me luck.

Radio is a powerful medium for celebrating humanity in all its diversity and constitutes a platform for democratic discourse. At the global level, radio remains the most widely consumed medium. This unique ability to reach out the widest audience means radio can shape a society’s experience of diversity, stand as an arena for all voices to speak out, be represented and heard. Radio stations should serve diverse communities, offering a wide variety of programs, viewpoints and content, and reflect the diversity of audiences in their organizations and operations.
