Did you wear the mask at the store when you were around other people too? I'm no virologist, but I'm pretty sure it was meant that being around people, touching objects that have germs on them ect ect all introduce small amounts of all sorts of germs to your immune system that make it stronger(best comparison is it's a type of work out for the immune system) . if all of a sudden you live in a sterile environment it does more harm because the immune system becomes weak without the constant work out. Don't get me wrong, everyone should determine the best course of action for themselves.. I personally do not think a mask will protect me from the most viral, deadly virus that has made it out into the public.
