Does remdesivir reduce viral titer by 98%?

You've asked a number of good questions in your posts. The answer to your post about the combination of remdesivir and brilacidin is easy to answer, but in answering it it points to an even more important question.

Look at graph on the right hand side of Figure 5B in the peer reviewed paper and add notes as to the % Virus Titer (how much virus is left) for each of the columns.

This is what I got:
DMSO = reduces virus by 0%
Brilacidin 10µM = reduces virus by 90%
Remdesivir 1µM = reduces virus by 98%
Brilacidin 10µM + Remdesivir 1µM = reduces virus by 99%
Remdesivir 2.5µM = reduces virus by 98.75%
Brilacidin 10µM + Remdesivir 2.5µM = reduces virus by 99.75%

Do the same for the graph of Figure 5C.

Based on these two graphs, remdesivir is the more potent drug and brilacidin, not remdesivir, would benefit more by a combination of the two.

Now ask yourself this more important question . . . does remdesivir reduce the virus by 98% or 99% in people?
