Disagree with most of your posts other than feeling a shared frustration over share price. We just handle it differently.

For example, the company never promised we'll get the grant. One of the US Regional Biocontainment labs (RBL) testing Brilacidin submitted a grant with the company for further testing of Brilacidin and it was turned down.

The grant was properly submitted, but, too soon. Additional data was needed that hadn't been out yet by either of the two RBL's doing the testing. I don't know whether or not another grant submission was made yet for testing of other viruses by either of the two RBL's.

The important things are the two upcoming trials of Brilacidin against Covid and UC.

Covid trial should be starting any day if it hasn't already started.

UC trial start is something we don't know timing of yet. It may depend on results of Covid trial if he hasn't raised funds for it yet. I won't guess status other than it should be next up after covid.

Timelines... anyone here should know by now that the company is bad with time projections. But, the trials actually start at some point. Brilacidin phIII ABSSSI was an exception and that was due to funding. That trial ended up costing more than company expected along with antibiotic market changing.

Many of these timeline misses started with the severe hampering of fund raising after a series of hits by misleading and outright lying articles written in 2015 which were undoubtedly by shorting hedge funds. The price was high enough to attract shorting at that time. Anytime a stock is over $2.50 it becomes an issue. Especially in biotech.

Company adjusted by running a series of small Brilacidin trials on various indications since then. It appears to have been a move to flush out what the drug can actually do. All of those trials were later in starting than company projected, but, they all started.

My expectation is for the Covid trial to also start.

Good luck to all, whether or not you hold shares here. The world needs multiple therapeutics to work against this virus even though only a small percentage actually contract a serious case of it.

Especially, in the next year as more are vaccinated. Based on what I've been reading, those vaccinated are at risk of having much more serious disease if they catch covid down the line. Those already vaccinated must be moare careful about exposure than the unvaccinated. See Dr Fauci comments on this.

https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/coronavirus/does-influenza-vaccine-have-any-effect-other-viruses

On Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the government's chief of infectious disease research at NIAID, offered his own words of caution about virus interference from vaccines when he testified before the Senate.

“I must warn that there is a possibility of negative consequences where certain vaccines can actually enhance the negative effect of the infection,” he told lawmakers.

Bottom line, I'm expecting Brilacidin Covid phII trial to start shortly if not already started.

No response needed since I'm out the door after this post is submitted.

Promises promises= the big picture.

peer review=big whoop. Is it a big splash in a big journal? Not even close. Slow to come out, in a so so journal, good for them. The preprint was the thing, as we all acknowledged at the time

Of course it is sensational for B to show success in the lab. Now for the hard work-a human trial

What about that grant Leo mentioned? And all those other viruses they were gonna test out? Not to mention MERS and SARS?

Silence. Plain and simple silence.

promises promises
