The JPEO-CBRND is developing a “surveillance stick,” similar to a rapid flu test or a home pregnancy test, that will allow the Department of
Defense (DOD) to quickly screen DOD personnel for COVID-19.

• Can rapidly develop and field immunoassay tests within 1-3
months and provide larger scaling in 6 months
