A lot of people confuse the industry-wide downturn with Derek. In reality he helped keep the company afloat through thick and thin for a decade. On top of that everything we have today (the HYFM investment and the cash flow from the property sales in NV) was Derek's seeds in 2018 coming to fruition today.

If anyone wants to see actual corruption look at MedMen founders Bierman and Modlin. Those were purely decadent.
