Yep Crow, except it's not absorption, it's fluorescence, which means that the sensor doesn't have to be 180 degrees to the source like a conventional UV absorption spectrometer.

Matter of fact, I think the patent app discloses a preferred source/target/sensor angle and it's not 180 degrees.

Then it could have two sensors, one for fluorescence and on for absorption....

.... but who cares! LOL
