If they issued another 100 million A shares, that's news to me. The holdings I've seen have been standing for some time, but are worth quite a bit to the holders. If you have a link to additional A shares being issued to people, I'd like to see it.

But, consider this: If using that drug for degenerative eye disease is "smart" and especially if it is profitable, why didn't anyone with the capital and scientists available to actually do the work and testing to achieve that actually do it? Heck, why didn't the patent holder do it? Nobody gives up a sure thing, and it's unlikely they'll give up profit.
