UFC has a good thing established on Spike. Why would they change it until TFN is well established? Why not use that partnership to help build the brand of TFN? Yes, in theory, it would benifit TFN to carry LIVE UFC bouts.. But thats not gonna happen. Reruns of UFC will work for now so the sportsbars play it round the clock with sportscenter type updates and highlight shows. Then they can promote the different events around the country so the US viewers know where to turn to get the combat sports they want.

You are right... IF TFN carried LIVE UFC events, there would be a problem. But they don't. They can run highlights from Spike and promote upcoming bouts as well as educating the public as to who will be fighting and about their backgrounds.. so the public has a vested interest in the fights...
