I've done work for TSN.. Interesting company to say the least. I wouldn't put it past them to do that. However, Spike carries UFC. I don't consider SPIKE a competitor...
TFN is a 24 hour information source that will only help IMO Spike's rating by letting its viewers know when fights will be shown and by educating the masses about the different fighters involved. SPIKE, UFC, TFN, all can coexist and work together very well. I don't think Spike execs would care and if he is under contract with a sponsor, they would let it slide...
Just my opinion anyway...
