Mr Bical has an interesting background involving fraud

I liked the respectful way that the press release kept referring to the auto dealership president as "Mr Bical". I had to hunt a little to find his first name and some background.

Turns out that Lilaahar (Sammy) Bical isn't as respectable as the PR implies:

A big-time car dealer linked to a disgraced politician admitted Wednesday to trying to hoodwink General Motors out of money so he could build a new dealership.

Lilaahar (Sammy) Bical, the man behind Kristal Auto Mall, told a Brooklyn federal judge he had someone cook up "a phony confidentiality agreement" so the auto giant would stop pressing for specifics on Bical's land deal with New York City and just open its wallet instead.

Bical wanted to put the GM dealership on a Brooklyn parcel he'd bought from the city, with the help of convicted ex-state Sen. John Sampson.

The Daily News reported Sampson provided legal counsel to Bical before the businessman bought the 110,000-square-foot Mill Basin spot for $4.2 million in 2013. The News reported Bical paid Sampson a "$10,000 retainer."

Sampson fell in the feds' crosshairs on unrelated charges.

The pol's now appealing a five-year sentence for unrelated convictions for lying to FBI agents and obstructing justice.

Bical, 60, became a fellow felon Wednesday when he copped to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. He wanted to fleece GM out of up to $15 million, according to prosecutors.

Bical appealed the plea agreement, which imposed three years of probation and a $55.6K fine, but the initial agreement was affirmed:

Two questions:

1) Why do so many of Conway's customers have sketchy backgrounds?

2) When will the first charger be delivered and installed?
