back a couple of years ago I took an old piece of "Punky wood" , That would be wood in the rotting stage, I did all I could do to stabilize it, made me a vacuum thing, pulled a mixture of Poly, mineral spirits, in my vacuum thing, then let it dry the best I could, then attempted to make a Peppermill for my bride and my friend -----I had that thing on the lathe and everything I did did not work, I mean, I would do something and it just kept crumbling and falling apart.....remember this is rotting wood, I stepped back from my lathe, and decieded to throw it in the rash----but I stepped back from my lathe and took a moment and spoke with God, ----"God, you know what I am trying to do, and this damm thing just keeps falling apart, I really want to make this special gift l for Kellee---Can you help me-------I made one last attempt and made the best, most beautiful Peppermill I have ever made, I am sorry, God & I made the most beautiful Peppermill---She has put that Peppermill in a glass cabinet (I think they call it china cabinet) and there it stand, she refuses to use it-------I have told her this story, so every time she looks at it, she remembers that God helped make that Peppermill-----Bottom line, God is one heck of a carpenter
Now......No Matter where one of you folks are, or what are trying doing, if something in your life just ain't working, Just step back from your issue and say "God, You know what I am trying to do, and it just keeps falling apart, can you help me"-------I am not telling you what to do, just offering a tried & tested thing that worked for me----------Sometimes we just have to reach out in faith------Do not be afraid to ask God, You There?
