Shares were retired, but at $0.50 valuation, which was Cox's scam, and there are wwaaayyyy more True-Up shares, reserves of which AltCorp wanted on reserve and then more of as $SURG kept dropping in price. That's how I read it. Cox said no, AltCorp said screw you and filed a Complaint. AltCorp won (though SurgePays and Cox get pff without admission to scamming them) and Cox must now dilute 800K to 1 Million $SURG shares per month, for 2.67 years.

The settlement does show Cox, and AltCorp, and Court expect 'Mr. Fake Handshake' Cox's $SURG stock to not increase or have value above $0.10.
