INO Hoped to take the day off the boards as I'm on the road working but seeing today's action felt it important enough to stop, set up and submit this message.
I see the playas are banking today.
I want to give a brief overview to newbees what is going on here.

OPINION
With the largely laudable squeezing of dastardly hedge fund elitist snobs going on in issues like AMC, NOK and GME, Robinhooders et al have now landed on INO as a target with its large short interest. That's lamentable because while the aforementioned tickers had once supremely profitable businesses and are now going through painful transitions, Inovio (INO) deserves to be shorted. It is a penny stock* that hasn't accomplished a single drug, therapy or vaccine in its 41 year corporate life. To put that in perspective, INO has come up dry since starting out at the same time Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister and Pink Floyd released The Wall. However, in that time Inovio has extracted approximately a billion dollars from the investing public, making its founder, Vancouver serial penny stock promoter Avtar Dhillon and his moustache, not a medical doctor Joseph Kim, filthy rich, awarding themselves bonuses after bonuses for accomplishing no drug, vaccine or therapy- zip, nothing! Going forward, public investments in bios need to go to worthy companies!
Here's the main message: Understand the current action is a play on squeezing the shorts. It is not much based on Inovio's prospects, though there is always some hopium being passed around.
Know that this can fall hard! INO had a 73% drop from one day to the next in 2020.
If you are in this play, it is largely just that- a play.
There are better and safer bio plays out there. I'm in a great one now- a high percentage chance of PDUFA approval in 20 trading days and little of the Inovio anxiety that is the root cause of your ugly fingernails. Chicks notice this, ya know :)
If it's just a YOLO state of mind you want to operate from, then sincere good luck. Just be aware you are in a dangerous play.
