kingjoe- That depends on what type of business its new merger partner is in. But that also factors into what percentage shareholders will retain. If it is a high PE business, the value should be higher, but it is stock so a lot of other factors calculate in, not the least the market at given times.

If you read the "Sticky" post with the 17 points I put above, showing why SPIN is an extraordinary merger candidate, you will note that Management holds 43% of the total shares or just under 9 million of 20 million. This is the same management that has been in the stock for at least 9 years and all but about 2.2 million of their shares were purchased at the market with prices as high as $1.87 for Donovan and around $2.00 for Jerry Bratten. Dr. D has almost 4 million shares and Bratten around 1.5M. No Director has ever sold a share.

The point of this is that Management has been very patient in prepping the Company for Merger. So I think it is safe to say there is no real desire to do any deal that doesn't at least have a shot of ultimately getting to $2+ a share sometime after the merger.
