Yes, exactly. It's earnings earnings earnings. That's all that matters and NOK SP is due to company being too loose in their spending. It's not the fault of short sellers. Shorting done properly operates as a cleanser to a lazy marketplace. NOK has 5+ billion shares out and the short, last time I looked, was 59 million, approximately 1%.

That said, the short story of last week brought into the open that the hedge funds found a way to short 130% of a company. That's cheating: delusional, hocus pocus and should be regulated out of existence.
