The play is to run this up in anticipation of the acquisition. That’s what the stock market is after all, trading based on what the future value of a company may be

I’ll be long gone after the run ends, so I don’t care about the future of the company or when they will make room in the SS to dilute.

I’m not sure why you would bring this up when we’re at the bottom of the chart and before the run begins (smh)
