Dwight Henry Deters, 61 of Wilmington went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 18, 2020. He was born on May 16, 1958 to Gene and Lina Deters.
Dwight was a great husband and friend to so many. He never met a stranger, always seeing the best in others and never complaining. He was a happy man that loved encouraging others and making them laugh. To all who had the privilege to know him, he will never be forgotten. There was only one Dwight Deters, only one.

He is survived by his other half, his wife Angie Deters, whom he shared an amazing love story with for over 34 years, a love that will live forever; his father Gene Deters and brother Donald Deters and wife Marcela. A Memorial Service will be held at 4pm on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
