the boards start out as and intended DD forum, and they are exactly that...however, over time, people get to know one another, and like any sandbox, some people make friends and some do not....you get to know is full of it and who is a constant whiner, etc.

So I suggest new boards are striclty info based, but as the board cummunity matures over time, it also becomes a bit of a social environment, albeit with the common thread of the investment....it's the natural board evolution.

Makes keeping the focus on the topic more of a challenge, but this place also fosters friendships...and that is all good!

Hit the ask early and often!
