Intel’s new CEO is getting the band back together: Another top Oregon engineer returns

Former Intel Vice President Sunil Shenoy is returning to the company as head of its design engineering group, joining newly hired CEO Pat Gelsinger who is himself coming back to Intel after a dozen years away.

Since announcing Gelsinger’s return, Intel had already rehired researcher Glenn Hinton. Gelsinger told investment analysts last week that “you’ll be seeing other announcements of key leaders coming back in.”
