A big question I have had lately about the recent surges in trading is where is the hype coming from. I occasionally peruse Twitr and stktwits but, I have not found convincing amounts of chatter in the tickers I see suddenly moving. Ihub still seems to have more traffic but Ihub chatter doesn't seem to be the source of the moves, they often seem surprised.
Recent news suggest Reddit is the source for the big moves on the Big boards. I am searching there now but I still wonder if there is a new App out there that is attracting all these new traders. Since I don't use phones I am woefully unaware of the app world.
