While an inert placebo will give a more scientific result in the trial which is better for the Brilacidin trial, the ethics of using placebos in Covid trial are hotly debated.

For that reason I still believe the US trials will use Remdesivir and the foreign trial will us Favipiravir when the protocols are released.
