Just got off the phone with CEO. It was a brief call because he had other scheduled calls but he gave me a few minutes. He couldn't comment on what's coming but did say that they have the next few months of news already drafted and on the calendar which tells me they definitely have something planned because news is definitely coming. He would not say what or when but did concede it would be soon (wouldn't define what that actually means though). I asked about a shareholder letter and he said he was in the middle of drafting one but again would not say when we could expect to see it. It is obviously coming soon IMO or else why would he be in the middle of drafting it right now? I asked about UCIX and the other companies and he said he could not comment on any of that at this time.
I asked about the past few weeks of volume and he said that "there has been no material change in what they have been doing or what they have released". It sounded very rehearsed and legal to me so he has clearly been asked this question by others as well as been advised by attorneys of how to reply. I floated a few reasons by him as to what could explain the increase in volume and he told me "he really could not weigh in any way at this time".
I asked if he thought that this was UATG's year and he said he is very optimistic about UATG's future as he has always been. He then said that he understood what I was really asking and that if I gave it time I would have many of my questions answered along with everyone else when the press releases come out and his shareholder letter is released.
He was very nice and professional as he always is but he clearly didnt want to give anything away, he also sounded very busy (phones ringing, someone came to his office asking about a meeting, etc).
I have spoken with him a handful of times over the past few years and he definitely sounded different and much more tight lipped. Something is up IMO. Hopefully what all of us have been waiting for, for a very long time is FINALLY happening.
