To all,
As I reflect on today and these past few months I am thankful. Thankful for the many friends that I have met either here by phone,email or in person.
You are special to me and as I have opportunity I take time to spend with you when and how I can. Sometimes there is not enough time in each day to say what I would love to say to many of you.
My hope and desire is that you all will prosper and be in health. That you will give more than you receive and that you will see the good in people and not the bad or have a bad day and take it out on someone.
Today I am finishing up, giving my vending business to a young man who I have felt led to give the business to for the past three months. I say this because I realize that my IBOX talks about helping others and I feel that I am trying to do so in that direction.
I am in no way trying to beat my own drum about giving the business away. I am however trying to show that I mean what I say in the IBOX and they are not hollow words. I know what the bible says about keeping things secret that you do in secret but these two things were not done in secret as it was impossible to do it that way so the cat is out of the bag and thus I share my joy in doing these things to benefit all here.
This is a new chapter in my life and the life of my family and wife. I received an email a few days ago inviting me back to Sri Lanka to minister and help the people in the tea country. Yes I guess it will be more tea drinking for me.
Years ago my wife helped me to understand the heart of giving more than just a tithe to a church but going outside yourself and giving of the most prized possessions that you have.
I can honestly say that I have now given my two prize material possessions away. My 1200 Triumph Motorcycle and my approx. $50,000 business no strings attached to either.
I feel so good knowing that i was able to bless others. And thus the reason for this board.
My hope in the coming weeks is that although I try not to recommend (see IBOX disclaimer) any stocks I do hope that you have done enough DD on SPRL,CDCH,MDMN,CKYS,PYPR,PANNF,NWOG to make a wise decision on whether you think that any of them work for your investment style etc.
If you have bought any of the above stocks or any that others have been so kind to recommend then I wish you well and hope that you prosper and are blessed.
As you ponder about life, your family, friends and other things realize that a motorcycle, a business etc. are things. Life is not made up of (he that has the most toys when he dies wins.)
Life is made up of coming to a place of realizing that we do not have all the answers. The one who made us has given us a rich and blessed life to do with it as we chose.
If we chose to be mean and hateful that is what will be given to us as we give it. If we chose to be loving, merciful,patient,kind then that will return to us in so many ways.
As you finish reading this may you ponder how the Lord would like you to treat your fellow man. How you would like to leave your mark. What you will stand before God and be known for and will he say enter in thou good and faithful SERVANT.
To close let me say this. When I was talking to the young man about why I gave him my business the worth of it was irrelevant. I spoke to him that in time the business may come to be worth $500,000 or a $1 million and it is about the heart not about the worth of something. I said to him what if the Lord speaks to your heart some day and says give the $1 million dollar business to someone no strings attached would your heart be obedient enough to the Lord to give it? He thinks so he said.
So if you saw a neighbor or a stranger in need would you ask the Lord what can I offer that person that will bless them. Don't do it out of obligation because the Lord says "Obedience is better than sacrifice"
I did not sacrifice my two prized possesions, I was obedient to the Lord and I gave them willingly.
Are you willing?
Be blessed and if you are in need and do not have the ability to give rest in peace and ask the Lord if he would bring his servant into your life to give you what you lack.

P.S. I had a person email me and say I was gullible and trusted too much and should not trust CEO's etc. I realized that I trust my Jesus and if he choses to see me broke then he has a better plan for me than I can presently see. If he choses to make me a billionaire then I guess he knows I can be trusted with his money.
Told my wife who is in complete agreement with what I did, that I guess the Lord will have to give me more so I can give it away because right now I have nothing to give away...She laughed and so did I.
