That's how the shorts dump their shares, they just sell and let everything free fall, it's their hope to scare the retail guys into selling and then more selling which begets even more selling until the short seller feels like buying back, or the stock goes to zero-which is their true goal.

Hedge funds do this all the time, Ican had a public pissing match with Ackman, Ican went long and burnt the hell out of poor Billy. Now, a bunch of retails using Twitter and Reddit and burning the Hedge Funds, poor boys are all upset about this. The links below will give you a laugh or a tear, depending on how you see things.
