Bootz Cisco/iPhone...

from what I've read, Cisco and Apple were in the midst of a deal that did not get finalized before Tuesday. Cisco figured that since Apple went ahead and announced iPhone as the name, that Apple was accepting the most recent agreement. Now, Cisco is suing, as Apple did not follow up today with signed papers.

My guess is, Jobs figured they were close to an agreement - just go with it and settle the details later. Doesn't sound smart to me, this gives Cisco more ammunition, but Cisco may not want to get into a legal battle either. Even though the law would appear to be on their side, it still takes $$$ to make the case.

I'm sure it will all get settled, one way or another, and probably never reach a court. It does seem stupid to let it drag out right into the intro, but some people work that way.

I'm still more interested in what is powering this thing. We now know it is not Intel, but who?
