Given the Apple results on Wednesday, did the hedge funds do something similar to the early days of Game Stop? Just about everyone expected the Apple stock price to rise after hours. In fact one analyst thought that the analyst groups in general was behind on their evaluations of Apple and that there would be a significant jump in stock price after record earnings. Makes it hard for the individual investor to use logic in estimating any move in stock prices.
