Based on what? The trading has been pretty balanced and offsetting.

There was next to nothing open as of 12/31 a whopping 40k shares, the 1/15 number should be out soon and will show next to nothing as well.

Short squeezes have to happen quickly or MM's will ensure they are balanced.

Like the stock ran from .05-.07 on 9M in volume the next day it went from .075 back to .05 on 8M in volume

The trading over the past 5-6 sessions has been basically washing bach and
forth

So no, the number of shares short would be nothing to drive any price action, now if a ton of volume comes in a squeeze can happen on the volume surge but not based on the prior action
