Trimax Corporation and Subsidiaries MSI/PLC Appoint Mr. Rashid Hasan as Senior Vice President of South Asia and Middle East Operations

TORONTO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 10, 2007 -- Trimax Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiaries, Multi-Source Inc. (MSI) and PLC Network Solutions Inc. (PLC) (OTCBB: TMXO), leading providers of Broadband over PowerLine (BPL) communication technologies, are pleased to announce the appointment of Rashid Hasan as Senior Vice President of South Asia and Middle East Operations.

A veteran communications, infrastructure and hospitality industry executive, Mr. Hasan brings with him over thirty years of senior sales and operations management experience in the North American, South Asian and Middle Eastern markets. Mr. Hasan is president of Toronto International Trade Corporation (TITC), which specializes in property and infrastructure development projects. TITC has recently consulted with Langdon Wilson Inc., a California-based architectural, planning, design and construction firm, to develop a $150 million five-star destination resort in Thundiani, Pakistan. His consulting efforts in Pakistan and the Middle East for the company over the past year have allowed us forge some solid relationships with government, the private sector and several key technology partners in the region.

Trimax management and their engineering team have been invited to Pakistan in the third week of January by several groups to demonstrate its BPL technology. The Trimax team will accompany the Canadian High Commission, Ontario Premier, Dalton McGuinty and the trade delegation in for an ICT/Security Business Mission to Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.

"Rashid is a welcome addition to PLC Networks senior management team," said Derek Pepler, President & CEO of Trimax. "He will have an immediate impact as his track record, unique blend of talents and experience throughout South Asia and the Middle East, affords him a unique understanding of the communications industry and the opportunities and challenges of expanding the business throughout this region. As we continue to execute our global expansion strategy, Rashid combined with his vast business networks and contacts will be a great asset to PLC Networks and several of the company's strategic partners who are looking to access this region."

About Trimax/MSI/PLC Networks Inc.

Trimax and its wholly owned subsidiaries Multi-Source Inc. and PLC Networks Inc. are leading providers of Broadband over PowerLine (BPL) communication technologies. Trimax/MSI/PLC specializes in the development, distribution, implementation, and servicing technologies that use the power grid to deliver 128-bit encrypted high-speed symmetrical broadband for data, voice and video transmission. BPL is a disruptive communications technology that turns the existing ubiquitous power line infrastructure and common electrical wiring in commercial and residential buildings into a high-bandwidth network. Broadband is delivered simultaneously on a single platform, to every electrical outlet throughout the home or business. To connect, users simply plug a modem into any electrical outlet, and plug their computer, phone, security camera or IP device into the modem.

Since the building's electrical wiring becomes the backbone for a secure local area network, there is no need to install any new wiring in the walls. The company's technologies use the existing electrical wiring as a "smart" network to deliver broadband access to computers, video on demand (VOD), VoIP phones, surveillance cameras, elevator applications, IPTVs, smart meters (AMR), etc. as well as connect printers, faxes, entertainment systems, etc. on the hotel, office or home network. Installation is usually implemented in a matter of hours or days instead of weeks or months and avoids the expense and disruption to guests or tenants of opening walls and ceilings or drilling holes to run new cables. This technology has been successfully deployed around the globe, in hotels, homes, apartments, office towers, schools, hospitals, museums and government buildings. The company believes that BPL will be the next widely accepted communications technology. Trimax/MSI/PLC anticipates that the company and its devices will be at the forefront of this new technology revolution, which includes expanding its reach to bridge the digital divide throughout the world.
