if you are talking about the patent attorneys, it is my opinion that kim is asking for the impossible...

kim doesnt want to patent kblb's work...he wants to use the patent process as a shield to prevent anyone else from doing anything related to what kblb scientists did...kim would like to prevent anyone from using ANY spider, from doing ANY kind of dna manipulation, where the intent is mass production of spider silk or hybrid spider silk...

i think if kim simply wanted to patent a proprietary process, he could have...a long time ago...

my guess is that kim's previous patent attorneys finally told him he was nuts and couldnt get what he wanted...kim fired them and hired new ones...

many ballyhooed the new attorneys...but they haven't done squat either...
