I wonder... I know from previous experience with government grants that they normally don’t allow grant money to be used to reimburse you for money you have already spent. Could it be that that is the reason there has not already been a “1st patient dosed” PR? Maybe the Biden administration has been “putting a lot of effort” into researching Brilacidin and lining up some federal funding support. If I was the new President, I would certainly want to be able to claim some credit for quickly identifying the drug that beat Covid and for speeding it through the approval process. And federal funding, along with the President’s support could certainly speed up the process enough to make up for a few days lost on the front end of our Phase 2.
