Samuel works on high impact asset backed resource offerings ,with specific asset monetization plans, economic modeling of risk adjusted cash flows ,rates of return, payouts, and asset life .
Hel is a certified petroleum geologist and a member of the AAPG and a delegate representing New York. He holds a B.S. in geology from Brooklyn College and a M.S. in geology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Samuel completed post graduate courses in behavioral finance, hedge fund assessment/selection, and private equity investing from Harvard University, University of Chicago Booth School of Business, UC Berkeley School of Business. Thus merging scientific and business training.

Samuel Epstein is serving as strategic consultant to USA Rare Earth , the largest heavy rare earth deposit in North America an asset along with its commercialization plan of nearly 800 million dollars.. He has written over 39 publications in scientific journals in the field and continue to publish on topics on geology, with his most recent being , the genesis and overall strategic geology of the Round Top Mountain, El Paso Texas Heavy rare earth deposit,, and a never before documented salt feature 5000 meters below the surface in the Bahamas related to Jurassic rifting, and maximum subsidence affecting hydrocarbon systems in the Dead Sea. All evaluations of most recent works result in specific drill targets and depth determinations., thus applying geological research to economic usable plans of action. Over the past 3 years 5 publications on petroleum systems in the AAPG and appearing in Search and Discovery an online publication , along with oral presentations at scientific conventions.

Samuel is the President of Geoval Consulting LLC, an energy and environmental geological consulting firm that works extensively with private corporations building up their petroleum asset base, and at times, going public. He has worked as a senior petroleum geologist at Occidental Petroleum and Chevron, with 6 years offshore and onshore drilling well site as well as management of strategies for drilling.
In addition Samuel has 23 years as First Vice President, Sales Manager for Morgan Stanley, serving as management in their 601 office largest transactional office in the World Trade Center ( 73 rd floor South Tower), and 7 years as Resident Director and Senior Vice President for Merrill Lynch Bank America in New York , in their 35 billion dollar 5th avenue complex.
