"Angry Mob." "GameStop halted after near-70% rise."

* "GameStop (GME, +68%) shares are soaring to their best intraday performance ever as the battle between bulls and short-seller Citron Research continues.

* The stock was halted just below a 70% rise.

* Citron Research has run afoul of angry Reddit users after outlining a bear case yesterday for the stock to go back to $20/share.

* The stock is up about 300% in two weeks.

* Volatility has been at the highest for 10 days for the stock ever, according to Bloomberg.

* Citron's Andrew Left has made accusations of the shop's Twitter account being hacked and said he would no longer comment on GameStop in the face of an "angry mob."
