Good commentary. I also think Dan had mentioned recently a negative perception regarding the collapse of a tailings dam and that their move addressed this.

I was able to access the SA article today. The guy seems too hung up on initial capex....he actually makes the case for First Mining in that he highlights their low AISC and/or operational costs once up and running. I did not recall his mention of their huge leverage to a higher gold price. As the gold price rises his arguments lose strength because of the leverage.
