With a simple modification the M/C could actually run in excess of 1200 gpm as i understand. As of last weekend the leach flow was hitting 60 gpm. At some point down the road (with expansion of current footprint) the M/C with revamped filter presses and modifications to plumbing will probably be the main recovery unit used. The M/C is being used currently to draw solution from pregnant pond - difference being the system currently runs solution through sealed containers that are lined with “activated carbon filters”. I believe there are currently three total that “can” run in tandem - when one of the units array of filters reaches maximum saturation...you shut that unit down and re-filter it with new activated carbon filters. You then discharge collected Au in filters through a chemical process and an associated electrically charged cathode process (ElectroWinning). The “activated carbon filters can only being used a couple of times before you need to “re-activate” the carbon in the filters (otherwise you won’t collect 100% of Au in the solution. What is missed passes to the barren pond and is then cycled back around through the next leach cycle. The “carbon filters” need to be replaced....continuously!
