Hydrogen, regardless of its form, is considered to be the energy carrier of the 21st century. Properly stored in combination with highly efficient fuel cells, it is one of the most promising sources of energy in future transport and energy - says Wojciech Skarbonkiewicz, one of the founders of the Biomass Energy Project (BEP). The company, whose shares are listed on NewConnect, in cooperation with the Polish Automotive Electrification Program (PPEM), research centers and other companies, wants to create a hydrogen warehouse and a hydrogen cell, which are to form the basis for the development of the Polish electric car and electric vehicles. - With appropriate support, domestic hydrogen technologies have a chance to appear on the market as early as 2020/2021. Currently, we are moving from the laboratory phases to the installation and semi-industrial phases - says Skarbonkiewicz. He believes that hydrogen has a chance to play an increasingly important role in the economy in three or four years.
