$OPTT makes ya wonder, doesn't it. Imo it's not just for no reason.

OPTT has been expanding quite rapidly putting many irons in the fire.
New office in Houston down where many oil companies HQ.
New reps in Indonesia and South Europe.
New board members that have extensive knowledge of their operations.
Relationships with Modus Seabed Intervention and Saab Seaeye seeking government funding.
Contracts with Deepstar and contract with ACET for the U. S. Navy's SLAMMR initiative.
Recently Taps SeaTrepid International for First Remote OPT PowerBuoy® Deployment to Chile.

The system will be deployed off the coast of Las Cruces as an autonomous offshore platform powering a suite of oceanographic sensors and transmitting real-time data back to land. OPT shipped a PB3 PowerBuoy® and several components to Chile this past spring.

As the balance of the equipment arrives in Chile, OPT project engineers are supplying detailed procedures and documentation and will use remote collaboration tools to guide local contractors through system assembly.
Imo Seatrepid is a very nice fit for Ocean Power Technologies and could be a test run for them.

So much can be monitored with this/these systems that they could completely disrupt the illegal fishing industry which is a huge problem, especially in places like Indonesia.

Lastly, The Biden Plan will:

Ensure the U.S. achieves a 100% clean energy economy and reaches net-zero emissions no later than 2050. On day one, Biden will sign a series of new executive orders with unprecedented reach that go well beyond the Obama-Biden Administration platform and put us on the right track. And, he will demand that Congress enacts legislation in the first year of his presidency that: 1) establishes an enforcement mechanism that includes milestone targets no later than the end of his first term in 2025, 2) makes a historic investment in clean energy and climate research and innovation, 3) incentivizes the rapid deployment of clean energy innovations across the economy, especially in communities most impacted by climate change.

So again, I don't think it's for no reason. It's imho that Ocean Power Technologies will be a major player in the not so distant future and some others may be in agreement.
