UC needs long-term clinical trials. The Celgene therapy, ozanimod, took 5 years to complete their P3 for UC (Safety and Efficacy Trial of RPC1063 for Moderate to Severe Ulcerative Colitis). They had 372 study locations! Their P2 took 2 years.

My opinion is that UC is unrealistic for IPIX to pursue unless brilacidin has success against COVID. I'm basically of the mind that brilacidin for COVID is IPIX's last shot.
