I had just about given up on Intel. My worry was whether I could get totally out of INTC given tax hits before a lot of damage was done.

I never worked directly for Gelsinger (I was a product/program manager) but was always aware of his work. My attitude about the future has turned 180 degrees. Pat has a huge job cut out for him but I know he is up to the task. Intel employees will be energized again. They will feel responsible once again. This is the best news we could have hoped for.

It is time for strategic direction and real execution again.
