The ticker NEOM and the company NEOM are not the same thing. The former company NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. is defunct, their website was gone years ago, and this Saudi company grabbed it. theres no mention of it being public on the website, or the wikopedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neom

If there anyone around from the old company, would be wise to contact this NEOM to see if they want to buy the shell, but as of now that has not happened.

The only thing happening here is the coincidence of a ticker names the same as a foreign company.
