I’ve heard various thoughts on results being reported following CD12 unblinding from extremely aggressive to overly conservative timelines IMO.



It is misleading to suggest that results from data should be expected tomorrow and not providing them would indicate a problem.



I can only think of a couple of reasons why such a statement might be made... I guess it could be ignorance of time required to collect data from each site, time it takes to verify data (just so you know, it’s more involved than simply counting the # of deaths in each arm), etc... Or, it could be made with intent to deliver FUD to those that are ignorant of the process.



I hope I’m wrong about this b/c, my opinion is the CD12 trial will have statistically significant results... But, unless there’s been some major advances in data collection or statistical analysis in the last few days that I’m not aware of, I do not believe results will be available this week... and, I don’t think there is anything that can be inferred from the timing of data being made available that should be considered as positive or negative...
