Side effects from receipt of the vaccine are usually injection site pain or soreness, headache, mild fever, muscle aches or joint pain. They commonly occur with younger people and less frequently in older people who have a less robust immune system. These immune responses are considered a good sign that the vaccine triggered a response. There are no reported long term side effects reported that I have found. There have been some adverse effects reported and these can be serious and requirie medical attention. They can be life threatening and may require an Epi Pen, antihistamines or steroids etc. After being vaccinated a person is observed for a period when the AE will most likely occur. The AE did not occur in either of the two, pfe or mrna, vaccines during their trials pre approval.
