ThermaFreeze Products(TM) Publishes Perishable Shipment Temperature Control Performance Results for Mars, Inc.

Market Wire "US Press Releases "

MOBILE, AL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 09/18/06 -- ThermaFreeze Products Corporation (PINKSHEETS: TFZP) released today temperature control performance results in the shipment of the popular Mars M&M candy line, conducted over a four-year period.

Product was shipped in 40-lb. cases lined on all six sides with the Company's flexible, frozen ThermaFreeze(TM) pads, providing a uniform cold temperature for the payload during transit.

UPS Ground Service replaced the use of refrigerated trucks, where Mars was experiencing unacceptable product failure rates.

Over the 4-year period, 7 to 8,000 cases were shipped from Pennsylvania during the summer months, throughout the South and Southwest, where ambient temperatures typically reach 110 degrees Fahrenheit, without a single thermal failure.

President Joe Murray stated that, "This is just one example of how the Company's line of cold chain management products changes the standard in the shipment of perishables. This holds true in the shipment of perishable products in the pharmaceutical and various other food product categories."
