You could have a debate with the T/A Williams. The indicator is followed widely by many professionals both technical and fundamental. That's why its among the leading group of indicators there. I'd say debate Williams a highly regarded technician. The "Help" link on the chart page will give you a full explantion, how it works, and the man who came up with it. I displayed multiple charts proving it.
After literally proving it has merit and does provide insight into the expected direction, I have difficulty understanding why this is even debatable.
Taking it any further would be an effort in futility.
